What Is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a centuries-old healing practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It involves inserting very fine needles into specific points on the body to restore the flow of “Qi” (pronounced “chee”), or life energy. According to TCM, when Qi is blocked or unbalanced, it can lead to pain or illness. Acupuncture helps rebalance this energy, promoting healing and pain relief.
In recent decades, acupuncture has become widely recognized in Western medicine for its ability to treat a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, migraines, anxiety, and digestive issues.
